Why NOT College?
If following directions and taking commands the rest of your life is not your thing, then maybe college is not meant for you. Skipping college and working is usually looked down upon by most people, especially corporate companies and parents. Pursuing this route is definitely riskier than attending university. Making this decision can be extremely difficult especially if you do not have a plan to generate an income and survive. Most new businesses and startups fail nearly half the time; however, with great risk comes great reward. The potential to start a major business and working for yourself trumps going through school for years, racking up debt to land a job with an average salary. The route of jumping straight into the real world is risky, but the reward of a higher salary without all the time and money wasted in college makes it all worth it in the end.
